Alakatha was a moon of K'vath 5 in the K'vath system.
During the New Sith War, Alakatha became the sight for one of the most brutal civil wars in history, with thousands of Alakathians and Humans slaughtered as a Sith Cult took hold of the Planet's Government. In time the Jedi Order would come to vanquish the Cult however some managed to disappear underworld, occasionally trying to mount more assaults to take hold of the planet again however this usually failed due to infighting.
It was a popular resort world for Coruscanti elite, with two semi-tropical continents, it was also where Rhyley and Atyphe Stargazer had their honeymoon and where Raedan Kitani and Erisey Casoona-Kitani had their wedding.

This Planet is used within a Dune Sea Desperadoes Plots and is so part of the SEAverse of Star Wars lore.
