Summary
Overview
The only knowledge of Asuhara's past comes from her shattered memories, a result of her run-in with the Loedorvian Brain Plague. The few memories she has she prefers to avoid, as she no longer knows the people in them. The Plague also left her unable to fully control her emotions, making her potentially dangerous even to herself. In a bitter twist of fate she discovered her Force-sensitivity shortly afterwards. Her powers become unstable during her emotional storms, thus making the problem that much worse. She is currently renting a hotel room on Tatooine, a planet she hopes is far enough away for her to find a way to control herself.
Family
Unknown to her, Asuhara grew up to a fairly large family, with her lying somewhere in the middle in terms of age. She doesn't want to seek them out for many reasons, one of which is the fact that they aren't looking for her. As Force Sensitives are illegal, she figures her family wasn't looking for her because they didn't want her. Shattered memories also would've made it hard to interact with the people she no longer knows, so she doesn't dwell too much on them.
Force Usage
Other then isolated events in her early childhood, such as a glass falling of a shelf for no aparent reason, her force sensitivity was unknown to her until after her run in with the Plague, which removed the restraints on her emotions. As a result, her powers tend to originate more from the dark side of the Force, where emotion is the source of power. Deep down however, she doesn't want to become evil, and can't picture herself as such; although, it is none-the-less very tempting since she can more easily learn powers in the area. Despite all her efforts she will never be as good of a Light Side user as she could be a Dark Side user. Her future however can only tell which she will stray to.
The largest threat however, still remains the loss of control during her easily started emotional takeovers. It is hard to identify friend from foe when her anger builds to the point at which she's angry at everything and everyone for no aparent reason. It is unknown if a similar result will occur during times of extreme happiness.
