Introduction

With his rebellious attitude and apparent anti-authoritarian behavior, the musician Benja'min Breeg is - or would like to be - the epitome of a youth gone wild.

Background

The son of an Imperial senator and an Imperial colonel, Benja'min grew up in luxury in the upper levels of Coruscant. He attended the best schools in the Core Worlds region and was enrolled at the Royal Academy at Theed studying military history. He was a good student, and scored high marks, making his parents proud. However, there was only one thing on his mind: music; he couldn't care less about the Empire or military history. All he wanted to do was to play music.

When his father enrolled him at the Imperial academy on Carida, Benja'min realized that his dreams of becoming a musician would never come true if he were to become an Imperial officer, so he packed his instruments and his most fancy clothes and left the planet in a Dunelizard starfighter given to him by his uncle.

Benja'min traveled the galaxy and performed in cantinas, on the street and at local parties, making enough money to expand his collection of instruments. When he doesn't perform, he practises constantly, forever improving his skills as a musician.

Personality

Regretting he never had the guts to rebel against his father, Benja'min has become the epitome of youth rebellion, letting his hair grow long and growing an unorthodox beard. He acquired an anti-authoritarian attitude, and has had several clashed with the local authorities whereever he was.

He typically wears clothes associated with the oppressed working classes of the galaxy, such as leather jackets and old ragged pants. Although he does his best to speak the language of young, the rebellious and the hip, his upper class background prevents him from being fully in touch with it, and often he ends up sounding just strange rather than hip and cool.

Equipment

Considering himself an artist, Breeg's inventory of weapons is limited to a knife and a standard blaster, which he is barely capable of firing.

Rather than carrying weapons, Breeg prefers instruments. He has an extensive collection of instruments from all over the galaxy, and always carries a few with him, so he can jump on to any stage and start performing.

He is also the owner of the Stinger a black and yellow striped Dunelizard starfighter, which he uses for interplanetary traveling as well as for certain additional jobs.

Profession and allegiances

While coming from an Imperial family, Breeg does not care much for the Galactic Civil War - all he wants to do is to play his music. He did briefly serve the Rebellion as a pilot, but upon realizing that it was more out of spite against his father rather than out of spite against the Empire, he left the Rebel Alliance behind. He presently remains neutral. Whenever he is in desperate need of money, he will do a couple of jobs for CorSec who have hired him as a part time pilot.
