Background

Fyor Daal, was one of the first humans to enlist in the Imperial military following the Emperor's proclamation of the institution of the Galactic Empire. He started out in the military as a trooper, yet not a very brilliant one. He participated in the first military actions to contain and control the few rebellious activities that occurred as well as participated in the search for the few remaining Jedi that were in hiding.

Over time, he climbed the command hierarchy, achieving the rank of captain and was assigned command of the 45th Stormtrooper Company. As its commanding officer, Fyor Daal began showing potential in leadership, such a way that his superiors were surprised of the success the company achieved in such a short amount of time under the new leadership. Most likely due to his origins, Fyor Daal enjoyed the military life, and believed completely in the Empire, along with its principles and objectives. With time he continued to increase in rank, achieving his present status of Surface Marshall. His first assignment as Surface Marshall was his home planet of Onderon, a location which the Empire pointed out as pivotal, due to the abundance of natural resources.

Either from his career or out of pure personal greed, once he achieved the rank of Surface Marshall he began to exhibit signs of ambition or lust for power in such a way that he began overstepping his authority and became enemies with important people inside the Imperial political structure. So when civil unrest and public disturbance began flaming up on Onderon, Daal's enemies seized the opportunity and were able to remove him from this important and vital role. He was re-assigned to the backwater world of Tatooine, where he is presently assigned and answers to Moff Alexander Julstan.
