Making Pages

Creating a Character Article

Step 1

Enter your character's name in the search box at the side, and search for it. When it informs you that the page is not found, there will be a link to create the page. Click on the link to open up the editing box for the page, which will, in turn, create the page.

Step 2

Write the article for your character. Perhaps including a biography, ideas on equipment, skills, the Force and other such.

Please feel allowed to look at other peoples' character articles, and possibly even take ideas from them, and copy coding and formatting, if appropriate. However, do not edit the article in the process, and be careful to keep it as it is when you have finished, by pressing the Cancel button, or the Back button on your browser.

A Character Information Template is also available to improve the article, as is the Quote Template. For those that may prefer Ani's system, another Character Information Template is available for use.

Step 3

To include your character in the appropriate category, simply add the following text to the bottom of the page:

[[Category:Characters]]

This will add a linking box at the end of the article, and place it in the Characters Category in the appropriate section of the alphabet.
