Introduction
Kassiah currently works as a Communications Technician with Dune Sea Enterprises, picking up the nuances in transmissions that may be missed by droids. With her brown hair and eyes, she may not appear immediately attractive, but her shy smile can be disarming. Only child of freighter pilot parents, she was born on board the Roaming Star and raised amongst a crew that were considered more family than employees. This was probably due to her parent's Mandalorian heritage, something that they tried to adhere to as much as possible, although this did not have a great influence on the young Kassiah. Her birth was registered three months after she was born, when the ship arrived at Coruscant for refuelling and lading.
Background
Born in 13 BBY, Kassiah grew up on board ship. Her life was relatively uneventful, her parents generally flying safe routes and avoiding the more dangerous ones. They made a living sufficient for their needs, but never riches. Kassiah received her education via datapads and holobroadcasts, just as many spacer children did. She would often help with shipboard duties and by the age of fifteen, she was operating the ship's communication systems on her own. It was inevitable that she would follow in her parents' ion trail and become a pilot in her own right by her seventeenth birthday.
3 ABY - On receiving her pilot's license, Kassiah applied and succeeded in getting a position as a freighter pilot for Dune Sea Enterprises, flying one of the company's YT 1300s. She was based in Kor Vella, Corellia. Plying the Corellian Run trade route, she preferred to avoid any direct conflict with pirates and smugglers, using the evasion techniques taught to her by her parents. This soon earnt her the nickname of Dodger, quickly adopted by her fellow pilots as her callsign, over her previous one which was merely her surname.
4 ABY to Present Day
4 ABY - In the last month of the year, Corellia was blockaded due to a terrorist alert and all shipping was diverted to Rodia. Deciding to take the opportunity of vising the headquarters of DSE, Kassiah arrived in Outmian Yakta, Tatooine. Missing regular contact with people her own age, she decided to seek employment planetside and was transferred to work with Outmian Security Force, using her communications skills within the organisation.
