Introduction
A descendent of the Corellian Jedi, in his view, and proper to his heritage, he believes that in many situations action is to be taken and that matters do not solve themselves. However, Key'an is a reserved and calm person, when in public he does not tend to become the centre of the attention and only participates or provides his opinions when he feels that they are required.
Childhood & Jedi Order

Key'an was the only child of Hacen and Alna Tikaris. He grew up on the grassy plains of Corellia, in a small village just north of Coronet. At the age of five, Key'an joined the Corellian Jedi group that where bound to protect Corellia. It was at this age that he first began to develop his skills in the various fields of Concealment and Pain Control.

Just before the Clone Wars began, various Corellian Jedi returned and joined the Old Jedi Order, and it would seem that it was just in time, though no-one was able to forsee what was developing on the horizon. Once Key'an officially joined the order, he was placed under the teachings of Jedi Master Askha Boda and effectively became his Padawan learner, and thus accompanied his master in various missions, including one to discover the reason why Dooku had been present at the Gree Enclave

At the time of the climax of the war, Jedi Master Askha Boda and Padawan Key'an Tikaris were travelling to Utapau, in their Jedi starfighters, when they received the coded transmission to return to the Jedi Temple, claiming that the war was over. Moments before exiting hyperspace in Coruscant's orbit, Jedi Master Yoda and Master Kenobi altered the signal. Therefore, the two re-calculcated the Hyperspace co-ordinates, just in time, and set them for the Alzoc System, arriving soon after. Once they landed on Alzoc III, they destroyed their fighters so that no indication of their presence would be visible.

During the eight years that passed from the end of the Clone Wars until 11BBY, Master Boda had taught Key'an the art of meditation and lightsaber combat, during his time with his master, Key'an became quite proficient in them. Also at this time, the first group of settlers began to arrive on the planet, as part of the Imperial settlement. When the first homes began to appear on the planet, both the master and the apprentice began to slowly incorporate themselves into the society and remained there peacefully.

This year would prove difficult for Key'an, rumours that small resistance cells against the Empire had begun to develop on various planets had reached their shadowy existance, and as such, Master Boda told Key'an that he would be travelling to Corellia and see if he could discover more of these rumours. However, half way into his journey, Master Boda was captured by the Empire and taken before the Emperor, who killed him in favour of an item that he possessed. Key'an had been instructed to, if his Master did not return, leave Alzoc III and to search for shelter on another planet and so he left Alzoc. He then travelled to Alderaan where he began to provide support to the growing resistance cell.
Rebellion

The Alliance to Restore the Republic was founded by the forces of the Chandrila, Alderaan and Corellia. Initially, Key'an was incorporated into one of the various units that constitued the military forces of the alliance. During his time in the alliance, Key'an became a spec-ops operative, specialized in infiltration and stealth, due largely to his Jedi training, which he kept hidden even from the upper alliance echelons.

Key'an became known as "Whisper Bird" for his ability to get in and out of enemy fortifications without being noticed, these abilities gave the Alliance an advantage, as it facilitated deep strikes inside the Empire, without the Alliance having to expose itself or deploy large number of forces to achieve its objectives.

Key'an became increasingly discharmed with the aparrent lack of decisive action taken by the Rebellion and began considering returning back to his origins, and back into hiding where he could continue to work on his Jedi abilities. However, on one of his last missions, Alliance Command requested that Key'an infiltrate a heavily fortified Imperial centre and obtain secret information on the Empire's war plans. In a stunning turn, he obtained much more than what he had been sent to do.
