The Krath War Droid Project was a series of experiments performed by Meer Co. between 3ABY and 5ABY. Lead by Professor Grimm, many of the staff working for Meer Co. was reported either missing or dead shortly after the project started. Several individuals were involved as test subjects for enhanced cybernetics, most of them died before tests could be concluded. It's not known if any working prototypes were ever created.
Research Facilities
Research facilities developing this technology have been found on Tatooine, Onderon, Mustafar and Rori. All the tests conducted in these facilities were considered illegal, after an incident involving a corrupt Imperial Officer the facilities have been locked down by the Empire.

This NPC is used within a Dune Sea Desperadoes Plot and is so part of the SEA Universe of Star Wars lore.
