During 3 ABY when Drackos Shadat was Outmian Yakta’s Head of Security, the company manager Caerwynn Royce suffered several assassination attempts and several droids where hacked. To counter this Drackos ordered some modifications to his personal supply of standard C-Viper series probe droid.

Apart from the usual seek and destroy, patrol and guard patterns these modified probots are able not only to locate targets through DNA identification, but also their owner. Only Caerwynn Royce, Cravon Wolfgang, and Drackos Shadat were able to access the probot’s program, they would send an encryptated file to the DSE and SBC networks with its records and self destruct if any other individual tried to access them. They can also identify other droids on duty with patterns different than those programmed on all DSE and SBC droids. The measure proved to be useful as no more droids were hacked since then.

After he resigned from his job during the blockade of Tatooine Drackos retrieved all these droids from the DSE stock and continues using them for protection and guard duties for SBC.
